The SkeeBowling is designed by Andrew Buczko of Dungeon Studios and features
it's giant size for exciting thrills! The Super SkeeBall combines Bowling with
SkeeBall, that's right, the this game uses 10lb bowling balls!

Measuring in at 20ft long and 8ft high with an Arduino powered scoring system.
This game uses a flat - pack design for portability being able to break down into
sections for transport. The Targets are made with rubber from old industrial
conveyor belts while the rest of the target area is lined with carpet to help absorb the impacts.

A great game for any party or event!

The idea came from wanting something new and exciting
to bring to Maker Fairs. I've brought my home made pinball
machine and my Wooden DDR Pads so I needed something new.
One Maker had metal skeeball with fire effects but fairs
run during the day when the fire is not as bright. During
the day it's usually hot out, so why make it hoter. Then I
thought, why don't we just make skee ball bigger? The size
of bowling balls! When talking about the Skeebowl project,
everyone I told was terrified of it.

When I started building it, everyone jumped in and wanted
to help. I switched from being the Builder to becoming the
Project Manage. Over the course of two weeks with a team of
about ten makers, we built the SkeeBowling machine.

Building the Skeebowling machine at the Makerspace prove to be a
tough challenge. First we had to move everything to make room for
the 15 sheets of plywood. Cutting up the plywood was a two man job
just to maneuver the large pieces around. As things started coming
together we cleaned up the back half of the shop and did a test
set-up. It took up almost the entire back half of the Maker Space.
